Gac v. Gac

NJ Supreme court heard the matter of Gac v. Gac on January 30, 2006. At issue in this matter is whether a father can be forced to contribute towards his daughter’s college loans where the father has had no relationship with his daughter since she was five years old. The court’s decision may serve to further develop the factors identified in the case of Newburgh v. Arrigo and could have a significant impact on children and divorce parents throught the state.
